A Summit of Spontaneity

Day 5 brought pure exhilaration as the group crossed into Switzerland and embraced an impromptu detour to Tête de Ferret. The guide, Alessandra, had never climbed this peak before and proposed it on the spot, a challenge that five of the ten women eagerly accepted. The summit offered jaw-dropping, next-level views, a reward for the climb and a reminder of why off-the-beaten-path adventures are so unforgettable.
Steady Steps at Altitude

Sidney felt the effects of the high altitude but powered through each step with focus and determination. The descent, while steep, was made more manageable by the surrounding alpine beauty. Each ridge, valley, and glacier-carved formation serving as both guide and inspiration.
Real-World Testing ™ at Its Peak

Midway through the descent, the group stopped at a mountain dairy farm for a well-earned lunch before continuing to the picturesque village of La Fouly, Switzerland. Throughout the day, Sidney put Baffin gear through its paces:
-
ELORA MID provided secure and reliable traction across rugged, uneven trails.
-
BASE LAYER LINER SOCK and TRAIL SOCK maintained blister-free comfort and consistent temperature regulation.
-
PUFFER JACKET PROTOTYPE provided warmth at the summit without restricting movement.
-
RAIN JACKET PROTOTYPE offered reliable protection against intermittent alpine weather.

Each product performed impeccably, demonstrating the strength of Baffin’s advanced technologies in demanding real-world conditions.
Gratitude and Looking Ahead

A heartfelt thank you to Women Who Explore for hosting such a well-organized and unforgettable expedition. The rugged Swiss terrain pushed ELORA MID and other Baffin gear to their limits, highlighting both performance and reliability in extreme alpine conditions.
The adventure continues… Day 6 promises more discovery, challenge, and Real-World TestingTM across the Mont Blanc range.
