Women Who Explore is a global community dedicated to empowering women in the outdoors, fostering connection, adventure, and discovery. Crossing Borders and Reaching New Heights
Day 3 quickly became Sidney’s favourite of the entire trek, not only for the physical achievement of crossing from France into Italy, but for the sheer beauty that unfolded with every step. The day began with a steady climb through a series of endless switchbacks, leading the group toward the summit and the long-awaited border crossing.
Reaching the summit marked more than just a geographical milestone; it was a moment of pure awe. As the group descended into Italy, the landscape opened into a lush alpine valley, framed by towering mountains, cascading waterfalls, and fields of vibrant wildflowers. It was a scene that perfectly captured the magic of the Tour du Mont Blanc.
Performance Meets Style
The spectacular setting provided the ideal backdrop to showcase ELORA MID in the Powder Blue/Black. Against the contrasting hues of clay-like mud, rocky paths, and green meadows, the fresh colourway stood out beautifully. The day’s final stretch featured a long, steep descent on paved terrain, which presented a new challenge.
